THE WIGGLES’ READY, STEADY, WIGGLE TOUR

After all the original characters (with the exception of Anthony of course) I did not think I could take a liking to the NEW Wiggles. I grew up watching The Wiggles with my siblings and even remember singing and dancing around in the lounge room with them. But now it doesn’t even matter if I love them or not, it is what my kids like. And my eldest daughter Hayley LOVES the fact that there is female Wiggle now. So I spoke to her not too long ago and promised to her that one day when they come to Melbourne I would look at taking both the girls there and also seeing if they had a meet and greet about so that she could meet the first ever female Wiggle and also the last original Wiggle Anthony.
So now that The Wiggle have announced their brand new tour:

THE WIGGLES’ READY, STEADY, WIGGLE TOUR
Wiggling to a city near you in December 2013!
I have vowed to get the girls along to this as an early Christmas present to the girls. In the lead up however the new Wiggles ‘Ready Steady Wiggle’ TV show begins on ABC TV in September. So they can catch up on the new Wiggles before attending the shows and getting to know all the new songs that The Wiggles have to offer.
Fresh off the back of their sell-out six week North American and Canadian tours, the world’s all-time favourite children’s entertainment group The Wiggles will return to Australia’s arenas and entertainment
centres this December to perform their spectacular new live show, THE WIGGLES’ READY, STEADY, WIGGLE TOUR.
The show will wiggle its way through Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart and Canberra, plus regional centres including Newcastle, Wollongong and Launceston. Melbourne fans are in for an extra treat - The Wiggles will also be accompanied on stage by the incredible Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, further enhancing the wiggly experience through the wonders of a live, 60-piece orchestra.

Tickets ARE ON SALE NOW Ticketek.* And I would advise to snap these up early as they always seem to be snapped up right away.

Original(and Blue) Wiggle Anthony. Fans will also have the opportunity to see all of their wiggly friends, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword and bop along to Hot Potato, Rock A Bye Your Bear and all their other cherished favourites as well as exciting new hits like Do the Propeller.
2013 has already seen serious success for The Wiggles in their new line up, from number one chart hits on iTunes, to packed out appearances and live shows around the world, to the emergence at shows of “the mini-Emma army" - girls dressed up just like their new role-model Emma. Even USA’s TIME and PEOPLE magazines have reported on the arrival of the first female Wiggle.

But the old Wiggles have not totally left The Wiggles family, they are playing roles behind the scenes. And in exciting news for fans of the original cast, former Red Wiggle Murray Cook has begun a new role as

The Wiggles’ Head of Touring for Australia and NZ, with other original Wiggles Jeff Fat and Greg Page still involved with writing songs and making cameo appearances in the live shows and videos.
