It is time for Autumn and with saying that means some colder weather. And to be honest I am glad, don’t get me wrong I love Summer but I am over everyday being 30 plus.
With colder weather means it is time to rug up or get sick, and there is one thing I hate when rugging up. . and that’s the fact that a scarf hides my neck accessories and a jacket hides my wrist bling.
So when it comes to Autumn I start getting my shop on for pretty rings and cute nail polish, as my hands will be the things you will see most.

Thanks to ORLY I have found some beautiful shades that will see me through and a colour that will pretty much match any outfit.

Firstly I will start with the colour that will match just about anything you wear and that is the: Mirror Mirror shade.

This is a light grey colour with a high sheen finish adding that little bit of gloss to your nails. With this colour in particular you will need the two coats and no less, or else it does look quite opaque. I love this and I will be having a little play around on my instagram with this colour and nail stamps :)

Then I was also lucky enough to try the Soul Mate, which is a red pink colour. This will go nicely with a little bit of denim, or even a great colour clash. I would almost be happy to colour clash the soul mate and the Mirror Mirror going one out on the soul mate as show below. But this would also be a great colour to pair up with that little black dress for them special occasions or more formal events. It is a very sophisticated classy colour.

The last colour, which I think, would be perfect for Autumn and is each and every year is the Coffee Break, and as you may have guessed this is a brown shade. It is almost the same colour as then you have a coffee in a glass cup and that shade at the bottom. I really love this colour, and love pairing it with my new cardi’s just in time for Autumn. I really am an earthy colour kind of girl and rarely go crazy on the colours (although the kooky me comes out sometimes and I go nuts on the colour, especially the fluro’s.)

Neutrogena Blue Line

With gentle but effective ingredients, products in the NeutrogeNa® Blue Line are suitable for even the most sensi- tive skins. All formulations have been dermatologist-tested and promise not to aggravate delicate or damaged skin.
If not removed properly, makeup can leave behind impurities that can clog pores and cause breakouts and blackheads.
99.3 % of makeup that would other wise be hard to remove.

When I go out we usually stay out to quite late as our family just likes to chat the night away and our girls are little party animals.
So when I get home all I want to do is tuck the girls into bed and then tuck myself into bed… But I have been doing this lately, and going to sleep with my makeup on. I feel horrible and when I wake up in the morning it looks like I have been sleeping with my face over a hot pot of oil, it is gross. And I do believe because I don’t wash my makeup off the night before, or I just give it a quick wipe with baby wipes I am having breakouts pretty bad. Neutrogena’s new range couldn’t have come quick enough for me.
So when I was sent the Makeup Remover Cleaning Towelettes I was more then keen to give them a shot. I tested them out one night after returning from a family dinner, I was tired and just wanted to sleep.  But I did push myself to get these wipes out and give my face a clean. And clean they did, the amount of makeup that was on the wipe was astounding!! I didn’t realise it was that bad until I used these. I always wear the same amount of makeup but never go overboard I like the natural flawless look. When I use a baby wipe I get nowhere near this amount off my face, which really does make me shriek thinking how much product remains on my skin blocking my pores.
I also love that their fragrance is very light and just a clean kind of smell, so I don’t go to bed smelling like a fragrance store.

Neutrogena® Makeup remover Cleansing towelettes: a simple, one-step makeup remover that dissolves 99.3% of your most stubborn makeup, even waterproof mascara. the ultra-soft cloths leave skin thoroughly clean with no heavy residue so there’s no need to rinse. Ophthalmologist, dermatologist and allergy tested, NeutrogeNa® Makeup remover towelettes are gentle enough to use around the sensitive eye area, even for contact lens wearers. RRP: $7.99

Sometimes I like to wear a lot of eye makeup for a night out, or if it is more of a formal event I am going to. This means nine times out of ten wipes or soapy water doesn’t help removed my eye makeup. Instead it makes my eyes sting and the sensitive skin around my eyes burn as I try to work the black off.  But now I never ever have that trouble thanks to the Oil free Eye Makeup Remover. This even gets waterproof products off like its nothing,.. I feel like a silly billy thinking back to the times I would struggle with getting rid of the whole panda eye look. Even once I wiped my face it still looked like I had really dark black eyes or something.
All you have to do is lightly shake the bottle to mix the products together and then pop some on a cotton pad and wipe away.

Neutrogena® oil-Free eye Makeup remover: the 100% oil-free liquid activates when shaken to gently whisk away even waterproof eye makeup without any tugging, pulling or stinging. Aloe and cucumber extracts soothe skin, which is left soft, smooth and clean without the oily residue that some makeup removers can leave
behind. RRP: $10.89

These products are very affordable to matter what budget you have to work with, and at the same time, work amazingly.  When I have a night out and know I will be staying away from home, I always make sure to pop these products in my bag as they save me a lot of embarrassment.

Autumn Love

Look out Autumn, I don’t know if it is just me or if that Summer just flew on by and out the door

I love this cool change already; our Summer here in Melbourne was very harsh and very hot. Instead of finding them amazing fashion pieces I would have much preferred being able to walk around naked, and I usually LOVE the Summer.

I also cannot wait to see all the amazing fashion statements that Autumn has to bring, I have a feeling we will be seeing a lot of neutral earthy colours but I have a feeling that the reds will be a big hit this Autumn.

I also cannot wait for the L’Oreal Fashion Week to start, to see all the amazing pieces strut down the catwalk. I can already picture it, I will have my phone in one hand the note pad on my lap and drool just dripping down my chin (hahah To much info!!)

To tell you I am looking forward to snuggling up under my doona would be an understatement. There is no better feeling then not wanting to get out of bed because it is to warm in between the sheets.

Bring it on I say J Let the fashion and fun begin!!

New Nivea Lip Butters
With Summer comes annoyingly sore chapped sun damaged lips. And to be honest I think the main reason is that because we use products on our lips with no SPF or anything they literally bake while out in the sun.
After going for a day at the beach, I came home and my lips were literally stinging and felt like they were on fire. So I turned to my review pile (which is products I am yet to try out and write about.) Where I found these beauties.
I was sent for trial both the Unscented and the Caramel Cream, both of which work amazing. I used the Unscented one first as I was a little scared that the Caramel Cream might sting as it is scented. The Unscented ones smells like absolutely nothing and glides on nicely giving me the quick relief I needed.
I now also use this product underneath and over my lipstick to give it that extra hydrated look.
The Caramel Cream always makes me crave ice-cream because it smells likes my all time favourite ice-cream!! I sit there licking my lips hoping to taste the oozing caramel, but luckily this lip butter has no taste what so ever or else I wouldn’t be able to keep this on my lips for long.
The Nivea Lip Butters are also very affordable only costing RRP $5.19 per tin. These are expected to hit shelves Mid-March, so not too much of a wait now.
Just another product I carry around in my handbag, and just another Nivea product for my collection J

Bulldog Natural Skincare

Who let the dogs out, who who who who?
My mister loves being able to have his own products that he doesn't have to share with anybody. He also loves a product that makes him smell like a real man rather then a walking florist. And exactly that came in a little brown box on Thursday. It came from a brand named Bulldog, which are made in the Uk. I believe the uk have a very high standard when it comes to beauty products and hair care products.

He was sent 3 products to give a run for their monies worth, and that he did.
The one thing I noticed with these products is they don’t have any artificial smells to them, the products all had a herbal sort of scent to them.

Original Shave Gel 175mL
Because every man must shave at some stage... the Bulldog Original Shave Gel is packed with eight essential oils, aloe vera, jojoba and konjac mannan for an incredibly smooth shave.
RRP: $9.95 (175mL) and available nationally from Big W and Woolworths supermarkets.

Matt loved that this product didn’t instantly foam up and out of his hand. Instead he had to apply it to his face and then work it into a sort of lather. It doesn’t foam like most shaving products instead works into a light gel lather. He also said it was great to actually shave with as it really helped his shaver to glide easily over his skin. He also wasn’t left with any burning sensations, which he has been experiencing lately. This would also be quite safe to use on sensitive skin as it doesn’t contain any nasty’s and contains natural ingredients.

Bulldog Original Moisturiser
The Bulldog Original Moisturiser is packed with eight essential oils, green tea, green algae, konjac mannan and vitamin E to help rehydrate the skin. Bulldog recommends application to the face and neck twice daily, after cleansing, for best results.
RRP: $11.95 (100mL) and available nationally from Big W and Woolworths supermarkets.

Mr Matthew isn’t much of a moisturing guy, but I have found in the hotter months of Summer his skin goes really flaky and gets quite dry. So he has actually turned to moisturising his face more often now. And he loved this moisturiser out of them all because it didn’t clash with his aftershave and has a really subtle natural smell to it. It also didn’t leave his skin all oily and shiny which I think is the main reason he doesn’t use moisturisers. A little bit also goes a long way, Matt uses a 5cent size amount on his face and neck and that is all he needs. He prefers to use this in the morning and cant stand any product except deodorant on him at night.

Bulldog Original Face Wash
The Bulldog Original Face Wash uses eight essential oils and green tea to gently cleanse your face of daily dirt and debris.
RRP: $9.95 (175mL) and available nationally from Big W and Woolworths supermarkets.

This was the first product Matt actually used out of all three of the products, and it hasn’t left the shower since. It has its own little spot, which I am told off if it gets moved. With this product you only need a real tiny amount and any more then a little and you will be a bubbling mess. Matt made this mistake and used the amount he would normally use, I would say he could have washed his entire body with that amount and it was only about the size of a 50 cent piece.
He used a small dot on his hand and he scrubbed up nicely, without drying out his skin or anything. He has had this product for about a week now and every morning and every night he uses it on his face.
