Plunkett's Aloe Vera

Tuesday, 12 February 2013

I love getting a tan, but hate getting burnt. Sometimes no matter how much sunscreen I put on my skin I usually always tend to go red before it goes brown. I am not one of these ladies that sits in the sun just to bake, but more the women who does the gardening in her bikini s or plays out in the sun to get her tan on.

But I hate when your body has settled down and the burn kicks in, especially when it's a hot night. You just feel like your on fire and there is no relief, and then it comes to shower time. On first contact with water I shriek and squirm as it is just so painful and ouchies. As then there is the dread of going out in the sun the next day, and burn on your burn /-:

But I have now found some sort of relief with Plunkett's Aloe Vera Range. I was sent other the spray and the gel, and this couldn't have come at a better time (Summer).
My favourite of the two would have to be the spray, as you can just spray it on as you need it, and there is also no mess left on your hands. Both these products don't have a strong smell, just a natural lemonade kind of smell to them.
The gel is best used before bed, when the burn is at its peak and you need that quick deep relief. You’re able to apply a thicker amount to the skin and really work it into the burnt areas.
Both of these products also help to hydrate the skin meaning you won't peel as quickly and the skin won't dry up so fast.
