Easter School Holiday fun with DISNEY

Thursday, 20 March 2014
These Easter school holidays, Disney presents the Disney Fun Zone, a collection of free activities inspired by Disney’s most loved movies, located at the Docklands’ Melbourne Star Observation Wheel.
So where do you think you will find us? At the Docklands of course!!
Running from 11am – 4pm April 11 - 13, children will love exploring a range of exciting attractions from Disney’s family favourites: DisneyPixar’s Cars, Toy Story, Monsters University and Disney Animation’s Planes and latest release and Academy Award® winner, Frozen.
WHEN: April 11 – April 13, Disney Fun Zone open daily 11am - 4pm
Melbourne Star Observation Wheel open daily 10am - 10pm, with last flight at 9.30pm
WHERE: Melbourne Star Observation Wheel, 101 Waterfront Way, Docklands, Melbourne
 COST: Free

Highlights include Woody and Jessie’s Lasso Challenge, a life-sized replica of Lightning McQueen, bandit moustache and sheriff badge making at Woody’s workshop and a giant Monsters University maze.

The all-new Disney Pixar Cars Zone features a bouncy two-track giant inflatable slide and a revamped World Grand Prix Driver Training Track with trikes. Young Cars fans will be able to meet and take their photo next to the life-size replica of Lightning McQueen and Mack the Transporter with an added cinema zone.
In the Planes hangar dome, children can let their arts and crafts skills soar and play the latest Planes game on iPad. Then bounce as high as the sky in the Planes jumping castle.
If that’s not enough fun, children can sing their own rendition of the Academy Award® winning song 'Let It Go' from Disney's Frozen, out on DVD April 30, in the Frozen marquee for their very own chance to appear as a favourite on the Disney Channel.
Open daily from 10am until 10pm, families can also take a flight on the Melbourne Star, the only giant observation wheel in the Southern Hemisphere, providing a new way to experience Melbourne and see the city. Melbourne Star offers a range of family admission packages starting from $56.00.
Disney charity partner Big Brothers Big Sisters will have representatives roaming the event encouraging people to make a gold coin donation. Big Brothers Big Sisters helps young Australians who face serious adversity by helping to develop positive and supportive relationships with adults.
