2nd August 2013= Jeans for Genes Day
Jeans for Genes
Day is more than an excuse to wear your favourite pair of jeans; it’s an
initiative to raise much-needed funds for children’s medical research. So that
is why today my whole family (except for Daddy as he need work pants) have
popped on our favourite jeans to support this day and all those little kiddies.
Being a mum, I
know how important it is to give our kids the best shot at life. Luckily (touch
wood) my girls have never had anything worse then gastro, but I know there are
many families out there that cannot say the same thing.
Established in
1994 and in it’s 20th year, Jeans for Genes® proudly supports Children’s Medical Research
Institute (CMRI), a pioneer in the field of paediatric medical research.
Merchandise can
be found at supporting retailers and workplaces across the country helping to
raise much needed funds and awareness for the Children’s Medical Research
Institute. Im in need of some nappies, well not me but my youngest daughter.
So I shall be heading to a store that
supports Genes Day and buy the girls and myself some merchandise.
Every dollar
raised for Jeans for Genes Day will help bring tomorrow’s treatments and cures
closer - so get involved in 2013! Make a difference and Register for Jeans for
Genes day.
