3B’s SUMMER HAIR SORTED Thanks to TANGLE TEEZER
I absolutely LOVE Summerr and everything about it, although my hair doesn’t agree with me completely there… Salt, chlorine and exposure to heat can make even the tamest of manes a beast to detangle after a day at the beach or pool. In the Summer time, well even Spring this fit family love the water and often head to the pool and beach for swims and walks, but this does take its toll on my hair. I leave it up in a bun afterwards and dread taking it out and seeing the nest that has been created. The salt water isn’t too bad as I love my beach curls, but the chlorine (blehk) don’t get me started.
But now with my Tangle Teezer Aqua Splash there is no need to worry and getting those knots out is now a breeze.
My original tangle teezer worked quite well, but I was finding the bristles bending and finding it harder to get through my wet hair. You can see my original review here.

3B’s THOUGHTS ON THE AQUA SPLASH
Well I wasn’t sure how to take this brush and what difference it would make, but was very surprised when it arrived in the mail. I thought that there would be no real difference between the originals and the Aqua Splash, and there was a possibility this could just be a money maker for Tangle Teezer; that was far from the truth.
I do love this brush and will not even bother using my Original Tangle Teezer on wet hair and glad I have the two different ones for different uses.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ORIGINAL TANGLE TEEZER AND THE AQUA SPLASH
There are two major differences in the two types of brushes, the first being the bristle. The brushes are firmer in the Aqua Splash making it easier to brush through your hair, where as the original Tangle Teezer’s bristles are a lot more flexible and softer.
Also there is a difference in the design on the product, not sure the reason why but none the less I like it. The Aqua Splash has a hollow head and handle, might be due to the fact if you were to use the original Tangle Teezer you would clog up the brush and there is a chance it could go mouldy. The shape of the Aqua Splash does make life easier when your hands are wet and slimy allowing you to get a good grip on it.
TREATMENT TIME HAS BEEN MADE 10 TIMES BETTER
I love using my Aqua Splash when a treatment is put in my hair, as my original Tangle Teezer would have no hope getting through my hair with a treatment in it. The patented teeth also gets deep down into my scalp giving me a divine massage in the process, bliss- if only I could suck Matt into brushing it through for me is would be just like a beauty spa treatment haha.
All this means there’s less breakage, more time saved and better care for your hair. So whether you’re in Bondi or the Bahamas for the summer, it’s the one brush you definitely want to have packed!
