Vitasoy
Original Soymilk
With
a full authentic soy taste, Vitasoy Original is the head of the range.
It is made in Australia from Australian grown non-GM, organic whole soybeans
has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. Vitasoy Original also has
the goodness of soy protein, and a low glycemic index (GI).
Where to I start with
soymilk…. Well some love it some cant stand it, as for me I cannot tell the
difference between full cream milk and soy milk. Also my children don’t know
the difference. I made the switch in their cereals and in the bottles and they
are none the wiser!! It’s a good idea to teach the little ones healthy eating
habits. I believe if my kids grow up drinking soymilk they will think of it
like I do full cream milk. So far so
good, I have not had one complaint!! It warms up nicely, its really good for in
cakes and cooking and great straight from the fridge!! I am now a soymilk
drinker!!!

Apple Picklets
Ingredients
Serves: 4
300ml Vitasoy Protein Enriched Ricemilk
2
1/2 cups (320g) gluten free self-raising flour
2 tsp gluten free baking
powder
1/2 cup (110g) caster sugar
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla essence
2
large eggs
50g dairy free reduced fat spread, melted, cooled
1 large green
apple, grated (remove excess juice)
Cinnamon, to dust
Instructions
STEP 1
Sift the flour and baking powder into a
bowl. Add the
caster sugar. Stir well.
STEP 2
Whisk
together the Vitasoy Protein Enriched Ricemilk ,
lemon juice, vanilla, eggs and
1 tbsp of spread.
STEP 3
Combine
the ricemilk mixture, flour and apples until
smooth. Stand for 5 minutes.
STEP 4
Heat a
frying pan on low. Lightly grease with the
remaining spread. Pour 1/3 cup of
batter and cook
pikelets until lightly golden. Turn over and cover with a
tight
fitting lid.
STEP 5
Cook
for a further 2 minutes and remove. Repeat with
remaining batter.
Serve sprinkled with cinnamon and drizzle
with maple
syrup.
